In recognition of their outstanding work and partnership, we hosted the COP’s Climate Champion Team during our Solution Dialogues in Sharm El Sheikh for the Farewell Party of Nigel Topping, who has provided such impactful leadership to advance reflection and action for climate solutions and a new economic mainstream. The Climate Champions play a crucial role not only during the COP Summits, but also in between to advance public and private sector activities.

We believe that leaders of the public and private sector need to listen to the voices of Youth. We have therefore systematically supported the UN Youth Negotiators first with a training program at Sekem and then by integrating them as presenters and active participants during our Solutions Summit in Cairo and during our Solutions Dialogues in Sharm El Sheikh. We also made available lodging and healthy food to support them during their official COP27 negotiations.
