GREEN ZONE EVENINGS  @ COP28

Building on the success of our COP27 Solution Dialogues in Egypt that integrated local and international cultures, this year’s COP28 convenings were hosted in the spirit of the Emirati majlis. They invited real human connections to spark innovation and build lasting partnerships that lead to resilient outcomes.

Our Solutions Dialogues invited carefully curated leaders from agriculture, industry, finance, civil society and government to enter into respectful dialogue to advance concrete action during and beyond COP28.

Our aim is to co-create a new economic mainstream that fully integrates the regeneration of people and nature with the economic development of regions and the business success of farmers and companies.

Throughout COP we hosted, with our co-sponsors, evening events that build on each other and launch ongoing initiatives.

Financing the Transition Towards Regenerative Food Systems

Transitioning to regenerative and resilient agriculture and food systems is central to strengthening food and water security, health and biodiversity, farmers incomes, economic development and the climate. To accelerate the scaling of successful agriculture and agroforestry approaches, farmers need support with CAPEX, OPEX, cash flow and risk management. At this event and in our ongoing initiatives, we discuss and implement solutions that unlock investments in food systems transformation, including blended finance and public-private partnerships. Transforming the food system requires partnership from all actors, and lasting partnerships are built on trust and deeper human connections.  This dinner will bring together a small, carefully selected group of global leaders and decision makers from the private and public sectors in a closed-door conversation to explore the importance of trust and how the trust deficit is impacting on our ability to transform food systems for people and planet.
