How can we advance concrete climate solutions at COP 28?

This event was held Saturday May 13th from 10.00 to 12.30 at KIT, Amsterdam’s Royal Tropical Institute and SDG House and Impact Hub - one of the city’s most beautiful buildings and parks.

In preparation for the UN’s global climate summit COP 28 that will be held from Nov. 30th to Dec. 12th 2023 in the UAE, we considered what action your organization and we together can take to address our interconnected poly-crisis of climate, biodiversity, health and equity.

We presented concrete cases of companies and regions that do so by integrating the regeneration of people and planet with economic success for all stakeholders. We call this integration Regenerative Value Creation that around the world demonstrates that we can create a new economic mainstream.

In an interactive innovation exchange, we explored how to develop and implement concrete solutions that integrate Regenerative Value Creation into the activities of your company or institution you help to lead.

We considered how to advance Regenerative Value Creation at COP 28 that offers us the rare opportunity to convene the most committed among 60,000 attending leaders from business, government and civil society to advance concrete solutions.

For COP 27, the Future Economy Forum hosted 16 days of events with over 2,700 leaders that led to concrete outcomes. You, too, can get involved in the Future Economy Forum’s Events and Solutions Initiatives. For details: www.futureeconomy.forum
